Ashlynn 4 months old

Beej & Chris

Wt: 15 lbs 4 ounces---------65%
Ht: 25.3 inches..................75%
Head: 16.4 inches-----------65%

This cute little chunk is such a sweet and Happy baby :) We tried introducing rice cereal, but she hated it as did Kaylee and Connor. She has since started taking a few bites of baby food every once in a while but doesn't eat a lot yet.

She loves her brother and sister and will sit in her bumbo and "play" with the other kids in their room. Her brother has tried to share a hot dog with her and when he got in trouble he said "But she liked it!"

She has also been found on the floor up against something screaming with both kids sitting their playing not even noticing what was happening. ha So, she only "plays" with the other kids with adult supervision.

Ashlynn goes to bed about 7-8pm, wakes up around 1 am and then again at 4:30am. She LOVES sleeping with her mom or dad. I find myself bringing her in bed with me a lot in the middle of the night since she sleeps so good. The kids will then come in and I will tell them to go watch cartoons until Ashlynn wakes up. :D Not gonna lie, it's pretty nice.

She loves to be held, and we love holding her! Here are a few selfie pictures of Ashlynn and mom

She was starting to get hungry in the middle of our photo shoot

Cuddling with her brother! The kids both love to hold her UNTIL she starts to cry ;)
Ashlynn has started sitting up pretty good in the bumbo. She really is a happy baby and only cries when she is tired, hungry, or if her brother or sister scare her. We love our baby girl!

Father's and Sons Campout

Beej & Chris

I was excited to take Connor to father's and sons this year since we were ready to get out of the aprarment, and I hadn't been camping in a few months.  We talked to a member of the ward to make sure we would know someone that was going.  Dad kept some of the essentials out of storage for an overnight campout as well.

On the day of the campout it was rainy, but that didn't stop us.  We headed out around 4 to where we believed we were camping.  It turns out, there are 2 stake properties named camp Zarahemla.  We went to the wrong one, so had to drive an extra hour to get to our camping spot.  Connor was such a good sport, and in the end it was probably good since it was raining most of the time we were driving.

We arrived and set up our stuff and then cooked some hot dogs.  Right by where we set our tent up, there was a rope swing which was the highlight for Connor.  He would hop onto the swing and occasionally his butt would drag on the ground.

In the morning, the sun came out!  We were happy about that and Connor was excited to help with the service project.  We cleaned up branches and leaves.  It was awesome to see him working so hard and having so much fun while doing it.

2nd Ward BBQ (Day after SNOW)

Beej & Chris

Yes, this was the day after the snowstorm. Our new ward for our new house being built had a BBQ at the West Bountiful park. They had a band which the kids loved. They would dance and dance. The band even talked about them on the mic and said how they were their "biggest fans" It was too cute

Building a snowman in April

Beej & Chris

Only in Utah will you have a big snowstorm in APRIL to then have it be totally gone the following day :)

Since Baby Ashlynn joined our family in January and before that I was too pregnant to play outside in the snow; we took full advantage of this snow day. Our friend Miranda invited us over to her house to play. Ashley and her kids joined us there as well.

I stayed inside at first with the baby

After I fed her and put her down for a nap in her car seat I joined the kids outside to build a snowman

We had SO much fun! I love playing with my kids, and it is sometimes hard when you are adjusting to having a new baby who can't be out in the cold. Miranda stayed inside with her littlest and listened for the baby while I got to play with Kaylee and Connor outside.

Ta Da! Here are our Snowmen!

I love this face Connor is making. He has been doing it a lot lately and it makes me smile every time.

Ashlynn waking up from her nap as happy as can be!
