On Halloween we started out by going to the Farm in NSL to go on the Hay Maze and just spend time as a family. While driving to the farm, my Grandma Parker had asked my mom to get me to take a few silly selfies so she could use it on her lesson on Sunday. HA HA HA
I didn't disappoint ;)
Girls vs the boys
Since the farm was just opened and is partially owned by our cousins. We got to go in for free this season. We went in this Hay Maze as a family and had a lot of fun. We legitimately got lost in the maze. It was awesome.
Kaylee loved seeing the animals, and even had the goat try to steal her hat
Since it was Halloween they did free face paintings and made balloon animals for all the kids
They also had a witch make a secret potion. She was soo good at making the kids believe it was a real potion that Kaylee and Connor weren't so sure they wanted to try it in fear of turning into a frog.
We had a great time
After getting the kids all ready and in their costumes we went to visit Great Grandma Parker. She had told all the grand kids to come because she had a treat for them. The kids sure love their "nice grandma" as they call her.

As we were walking to the car the neighbors across the street asked the kids to go and trick or treat there. So they ran over with dad and got a few treats before heading home to go trick or treating in our new neighborhood.
Their cousin Light joined in on the trick or treating. We went over to the bishops house to have some soup and hot dogs and then trick or treated on the way back to our house. The kids were spoiled and got at least three full size candy bars while out trick or treating.
Look at those candy bars! Ashlynn didn't mind helping herself
By the walk home Ashlynn was done with being carried and not being able to walk around at her speed, so we gave her a piece of candy unopened to chew on. Well, she bit right through the wrapper and started to chew on a snickers. She didn't eat much before we got home and fed her.
Trick or treating at her own house. Smart girl ;)
Okay, so I shared on how Ashlynn got the snickers and bit through it. Well, that night we noticed her face was a little swollen and red. Since her sister has so many allergies we got a little nervous that she was having an allergic reaction.
Grandma and Grandpa Scott came with me and took Ashlynn to PCMC. When we got close to the hospital we got stuck in traffic. Lucky us, we chose the exact time the University of Utah football game finished. Needless to say, it took us a lot longer to get to the ER.
But Lucky us, Ashlynn never had a problem respiratory or anything signifying a serious allergic reaction. They gave her some Benadryl and had us keep on the Benadryl for the next few days just to be sure. We took her to an allergist and tested her for her sister's allergies and the big ones, but everything came back clear. So either I underestimated her cute chubby cheeks or we just didn't test for whatever she is allergic to and will find it later. I'm hoping I just underestimated her cute chubbiness. :D
