I constantly worried about every little twinge I felt and quickly ran to the bathroom to check for more bleeding. I would even turn on the light in the middle of the night just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I finally got to a week after the initial bleed and felt like I could do a little more, since they told me to take it easy for a week. I still took it pretty easy, but I finished planting the last few flowers we had left since I knew BJ wouldn't have time to do it himself. After I finished and went inside and into the bathroom I felt a lot more discharge/brown spotting. It wasn't as much as that first time, but it was pretty close. Luckily it wasn't red, but it still made me so nervous. Again, my heart starts racing so fast. This kept happening at the time I was about to put Ashlynn down for a nap. I put her down and put a show on for Connor and then did the calling and waiting on hold forever to talk to the nurse. The nurse said she would talk to the On Call Doctor since my doctor wasn't in the office that day, and call me back. They decided to go ahead and have me go in for an ultrasound. My amazing neighbor and one of my YW Marissa gets home schooled the last half of the day each day, so she was already home at 1230 when I texted and asked her to come over later on that afternoon. BJ met me at the ultrasound. They were 30 min late coming to get me and my bladder was full, but I survived ;). The ultrasound again showed the baby kicking and moving around. Heartbeat was around 147. I tried to get the tech to tell us the gender, but the baby had his/her legs crossed so you couldn't see anything.
Later on that day I looked online and read the ultrasound results myself which showed a "Venous Lake". Of course the doctor didn't call me until the end of the day the following day; so I had a lot of time to research 'venous lakes' and freak myself out. When the doctor finally called me (btw this was the first time I had talked to her for this whole pregnancy and I am now 14 1/2 weeks pregnant) she eased a lot of my anxiety. She told me when she sees "venous lake" on ultrasounds; she only gets a little concerned if the patient has had previous c-sections because it can possibly affect delivery, but even then she said she doesn't get too worried about it. Needless to say I have since just been taking it easy but also doing things around the house. More so than I was the previous week, but not back into full force.
Yesterday I reached 15 weeks! I have been feeling the babies little kicks more and more lately. Yesterday at exactly 15 weeks I was sick sick sick. I thought when you hit the second trimester that the nausea eased up a bit, but instead it got worse for me yesterday. I worked on organizing my closet and it literally took me ALL DAY long. I had to keep taking breaks laying down due to the nausea. BJ was amazing and watched the kids while I worked outside setting up the water system for the flowers we had just planted, fertilized the yard, and took Kaylee to a birthday party. I know I say it a lot on here; but I am so blessed to have such a supportive, hardworking, and amazing husband/father. BJ sure spoils me.
Well as far as the pregnancy goes. We are hopeful it continues and my body can stay healthy for this really healthy baby girl/boy. I was having a lot of brown discharge constantly throughout the day but it has slowed down these past few days which has eased my anxiety a lot. Last night I was craving a suddenly salad mix so I went to the store at 930 pm and bought 6 boxes ha ha. I saw green olives and wanted to buy some soo badly, but they were like $5 a bottle and I couldn't justify it. They also had a lot of different types of olives and I didn't know which one to get. I just wanted the ones my parents used to buy since I knew I liked those ones. Here is a picture of what I ended up eating for dinner that night at 1030pm. I was too sick when everyone else at earlier that night and just had some toast and crackers then. It was delicious. Pretty much the only thing that helps with my sickness is eating, but if I ate as much as I was sick I would gain soo much weight.
As far as other pregnancy cravings go. I have been LOVING ranch flavored wheat thins and am just barley starting to crave more sweets and pickles. Well, there is the update. The kids are excited. Connor wants us to have a girl so he can name her after his kindergarten girlfriend Taylor. Kaylee wants a boy so she doesn't have to share anything else with another sister ha ha. Ashlynn still can't figure out where the baby is and why she can't see it when she lifts up my shirt. ha ha.
