First Dentist Appointment

Since the kids were getting a little older, we decided it was time to get them into the dentist! Our friend recommended this pediatric dentistry in Layton, and we loved it. They have a tree house in the waiting room with TV's to watch and Ipads to play with.

Connor's hygienist was amazing. Connor jumped up and got his x-rays done and cleaning done without a tear or frown. I was so proud of him!

Kaylee took a little more convincing. I think once she saw Connor was doing it all, she decided she better step up...and she did! Both kids got their teeth cleaned and the dentist had no concerns. No cavities!

BYU vs UTAH FOOTBALL PARTY

Since this was the last year in a few that the BYU vs UTAH rivalry game was gonna happen, we just had to have a party. The decor worked out perfect with the walls already being blue and then all the RED decorations we added. Obviously we would have been okay with all RED everywhere, but I wasn't about to pain the house red just because of the game.

But I did make sure to make a UTE wreath for the front door to help drown out the blue.

We had a pretty even amount of UTAH fans...

and BYU fans...

Can you believe we fit all of these people in our house! Thanks everyone for being so supportive and not complaining on lack of space. We added a futon as well as seats behind the futon (stadium seating) that helped out a lot. We also put a tv in the toy room and let the kids go upstairs to play.

The game was a late game (8:15 pm kick off) so by the end of the game we had a lot of sleepy people...

and sleepy kids...

Sunday naps are the best!

Indoor Slide

I love this girl! Kaylee has given up her naps :( I guess I can't be surprised since she is now 3 1/2 years old. So she usually goes in her room for a quiet time and then when she is done and Connor is still asleep than she will watch a show, play on the Ipad or do a quiet craft. She is soo good to be quiet and let Connor sleep. I rock Connor to sleep for nap time, and she will stay downstairs quietly while I put him to bed. It used to be hard because she would always wake him up, but she has really grown up and has become such a helper! We love our Kaylee girl.

Okay, I have always had a dream that I would add an indoor slide to our next home. I just LOVE the idea. But since we aren't quite ready to move yet, we decided to make do and make our own temporary indoor slide. The kids L.O.V.E.D it!!

While Kaylee was in preschool, Connor and I met Grandma and Uncle Nate at IHOP for breakfast. It is still so weird to have Kaylee be gone for 2 hours twice a week!

Neighborhood/Friend BB

Our neighbors the Nelsons (Miranda, Jesse, and Takota) invited our family and the McGavins (Ashlee, Jared) over to their house for a BBQ. I didn't take pictures, but Kaylee helped out and took a few of her own with my phone. :)

Unfortunately right as we were leaving to go to the BBQ, BJ noticed the garage floor was all wet due to a leak coming from our laundry room....needles to say, he stayed to clean up and fix the leak.

The kids and I had a fun time visiting. Ashlee's husband Jared served in the same LDS mission as I did, but with the mission president before mine so that was kind of cool. He served in one of my areas; Fargo, ND.
