Kaylee is such a big girl on her brand new 'big girl bike!' When Kaylee sets her mind to something she will work and work and work at it until she gets it. This will be a fun summer as she works at conquering riding this bike.

Grandma Tenney came to visit for Kaylee's 2 year old birthday party. The kids LOVE it when she comes and this time was no different.
Grandma bought a sugar cookie mix and let Kaylee help make them. Kaylee had a blast.

Every once in awhile I get creative on ways to entertain my kids. Here were a few that we did in February.
Kaylee and Connor made their own house with a cardboard box I had out in the garage. They loved it because it was a tent and something they could color all over. They had a blast and still use it!
I then made up a game called 'Hot Lava' (well let's be honest. This game is a classic! I can't take the credit for it) where we layed out all the pillows and couch cushions and played where you can't touch the blanket because it is hot! hot! hot!
Connor is growing up way too fast. He will pull himself up to stand and play on his feet for awhile before getting tired and falling onto his bum. He will play and play by himself and is so content doing so.
Kaylee got this cool activity from her uncle Nate for her birthday. You take the little pill containers and place them into warm water and watch the sponge bug grow and take shape. We had a fun time doing it. Kaylee knew right off what the butterfly was. She amazes me everyday.
I LOVE this pictures. Kaylee is getting to be so big and is such a cutie patootie.
Don't mind the little scratch under her nose. She fell off her new bike a few days after getting it. She was such a trooper though and wanted to hop right back on the bike shortly after.

We didn't get very many good snowman making days this year so when the opportunity came up- Kaylee and I went for it! Here is our snowman.
Daddy came up with the idea to use broccoli and celery for the face. Kaylee loved it :)

The winter this year has been really weird, we only had a few days we could go sledding or make snowman due to the lack of snow! Crazy! Luckily we took one of those days to take the kids sledding at a park close by. Kaylee LOVED it! She would say, "slide, slide". Connor smiled but was indifferent about it. It was such a fun Saturday outing. We didn't stay long, but had a lot of fun.
