BJ turns 30!

Beej & Chris

BJ is officially now out of his 20's....which means....he is OLD ha ha
We knew it was a big birthday and despite my attempts to make it a big celebration, BJ wouldn't allow us to go crazy.
He was out of town the week before his birthday, so the kids and I put together an indoor golf course for him in our apartment in Bountiful.

The kids had a blast playing with their dad

The kids picked out a card for dad and gave him a new pair of flip flops

That Sunday evening we invited BJ's family to join us for a BBQ up Mueller Park
Papa Bruce, JC and his family, Elisa, and JQ and her kids were able to come

We had an enjoyable time just hanging out by the fire and visiting
Happy Birthday BJ

Evie's birthday party

Beej & Chris

As we have been building our new home in West Boutiful, we have got to know our neighbors across the street (the Bangeters). They have twin baby girls and a daughter named Evie who just turned 4 years old. Kaylee and Connor both love playing and talking with her. They were so excited when they got invited to Evie's birthday party at Flips Gym!
Isn't that the cutest baby face

I had just missed it when I took this photo- but these two were holding hands (cutest thing ever)

Paige Bangeter (Evie's mom) and I have become really good friends. She is so down to earth and such a great mom. Kaylee and Connor both love her!

We are excited to continue to get to know Evie and the rest of our new neighbors

Park with Friends

Beej & Chris

We met up with our friends at Layton Park to feed the ducks

The kids enjoyed throwing the bread at the ducks. While we were feeding them one of the Geese bit another duck and held on to him for awhile. They both were squawking at each other...all for a piece of a bread crumb. It was pretty intense

Memorial Day

Beej & Chris

We always love Memorial Day since it's pretty much the start of summer and we love hanging out with friends and family.  We went to the Woods Cross Memorial Day celebration in the morning where Christie ran in the 5k.  She did awesome and I brought the kids to cheer her on at the end.

We visited the graves a little bit later that day for Great Grandpa Parker and other family in the Bountiful cemetery.

Kaylee had a reaction to something, but we weren't sure what.  She was tough though and made it through just fine.

Ever since climbing for Will's birthday, the kids always want to, and at the park they had a small wall the kids wanted to try.

And they got to check out the life flight helicopter.

The kids loved this little fire safety house (especially Kaylee) where they learned about preventing fires and how to recognize the signs of fire.

I hung out with Ashlynn while Christie and the kids were in the fire house.

Kaylee has been loving eating rhubarb lately since Grandma Scott gave her some to eat.
