BJ was asked along with a few other developers at work to go to their companys CTO's cabin to focus on a project that they would like to implement in their company. It was for a whole week and they were to only work on this new project and put off all other projects at work for the time being unless something came up that was critical or urgent.
The CTO (Sparry) came up to BJ and told him about his plan to do this and said he didn't know who all he was inviting to come up but he for sure wanted him to be there. Wow! What a compliment! BJ would never tell anyone this, but since I am his wife I feel the need to brag about him :) He is enjoying work so much and his work is enjoying him even more.

I wasn't there but I saw a few pictures of the cabin and all that was available to them, and I am positive they worked the WHOLE time. The definitely didn't utilize these:

Pretty much BJ is the cutest dad and plans the best Family Home Evening lessons and activities. Kaylee and BJ made CTR pretzels (an idea they got from the friend) and we talked about choosing the right. It was perfect.

Connor is growing up so fast! FASTER than I remembered from Kayle at this age.

He started crawling just after 8 months old and shortly after (I mean a few days) he started to pull himself up and shortly after that (a few more days) he would push himself off things and stand on his own for a few seconds.

Connor is getting to be SO FUN. One minute he is a cuddle bug and the next minute when I am busy making dinner or helping Kaylee- he will just sit and play on his own. And I know everyone thinks their baby is really smart...but my baby is REALLY SMART ;) At 8 months he was coloring with Kaylee. Yes he occasionally put the crayons in his mouth, but I am telling you he crawls to the coloring book-grabs the crayon and tries his hardest to color on it. I can't get over how cute it is. His baby toys sure aren't getting used much- he would rather do whatever his big sister is doing which of course includes coloring. :D

Oh and Connor's cheeks are pretty much the most kissable cheeks you have ever layed eyes on- don't worry, I take full advantages of them and kiss them all day long.

As far as eating, well we gave up on baby food and just started giving him table food. He has always loved applesauce and the meltaways- oh and graham crackers...but now he also likes pizza (don't judge ;D), noodles, bread, vegetables (all), sometimes bananas, Popsicles, and whenever he is lucky enough to get licks of a sucker from Kaylee when mommy is not looking ha ha.

Connor is doing a lot better with sleeping. He doesn't have a strict routine like Kaylee did at this age (but what second child does right?), but he goes down around 7pm and sleeps until 4:30 am (occasionally crying once or twice but quickly goes back down after the binky is given to him) eats, and then sleeps until 7:30 am. He then takes a nap around 9 or 10 am depending on when he wakes up and will sleep for an hour to an hour 1/2 and then a second nap anywhere between 1pm and 2:00pm for around 2 hours.
