Tenney Christmas Eve Dinner

Beej & Chris

I was at work for this one- so I won't be able to give a lot of comments on the photo's like usual. But the kids went with daddy to the annual Tenney Christmas Eve dinner with Papa Bruce and Grandma Sherry.

We all exchange gifts and the grandparents always give the kids a little extra toy just for fun.

Afterward they decided to go see the lights at Temple Square
and got to see the Grinch...
and Santa & Mrs. Clause

They were tired by the end but looks like they had a great time!

Neighborhood Treats/ Family Fun

Beej & Chris

It is always stressful but I LOVE making treats and taking them to neighbors.  think it is so fun walking around telling everyone Merry Christmas, and seeing the kids smile as they are giving things away to others. It is just a great way to teach my kids and a fun way of doing it. Right now we just make a bunch and then see how far we can take them. We don't usually get a lot of families and definitely not all that we want because it is tough with such young kids. But as they get older it will be a more organized thing.

Wondering who took this picture? Yep, Kaylee bean is quite the photographer.
Connor held TIGHT to those marshmallows and would not let them go. I attempted to make fudge but for some reason it didn't set right. So...we made due and gave our neighbors cookies and rice krispies.
I was having fun playing with Kaylee's hair. Isn't this cool

A few days before neighborhood treats. I made some yummy sugar cookies with the kids. It was so fun and I am way impressed that the kids did not get sick after eating all the icing they spooned into their mouths instead of decorating the cookies.
Do you think Kaylee got enough sprinkles on that cookie?

Here is a picture of Connor chillin' with mom watching a movie. It is rare that I get just mom and Connor time lately since the kids take their naps together and Connor sleeps way longer than Kaylee (usually). But this time Connor took an early nap so we got to hang out when Kaylee went down for her nap.
Connor can't sit through a whole Disney movie like Kaylee can. But we will cuddle and watch a show and read books together. Connor is such a stud and so fun to be around. He will stop what he is doing and yell CHEESE for me and run around saying "dance dance" as he shakes his booty. He is such a cutie. I love it!

Connor is now officially 18 months and in nursery now. BJ took this picture to show the progress the kids make. The top picture with all of the color on it is Kaylee's and the one without a single mark is Connor's. This is exactly how Kaylee started out. Connor will color at home but hasn't quite decided it is cool to do it in nursery too.
Oh and this is what daddy does with the kids while I am at work. Seriously- he is the cutest dad!

Scott Christmas Party

Beej & Chris

We headed up to Idaho for the annual Scott Christmas Party at Great Grandma and Grandpa Scott's house.
Aunt Sherrie and 'Pumpkin' set up a nice 'Minute to Win It" game for the kids and parents to play, and the prizes were little dollar treats or toys that the kids loved.
Afterward all the kids played with the cups that were used in the game. Great Grandma Scott decided to keep the cups for the kids to play with next time since they were all so amused with them.
It was so great to see all the family as usual. Chase's wife Kim- is pregnant with twins. We are all so excited for them!
Grandma Scott
Aunt Sherrie is so fun to play with. She LOVES kids and all of the kids love playing or talking to her.

Look at that little tongue sticking out while she focuses
Man, I wish all of Sherrie's kids lived closer. My kids love playing with them and they all love to babysit.

Aunt Sherrie patiently allowing all of the kids to help her make homemade ice cream. Isn't she amazing!
