Pineview Easter Egg Hunt

Beej & Chris

My work always has a Easter Egg hunt and Lunch for all the employees and any of the residents and their families. We have never gone to it, because we are usually in Idaho in the morning. But since we had the 5K in the morning, we decided to stop here on our way to Idaho.
After eating a yummy ham/potato lunch. They separated the kids in different age groups. I took Connor and BJ took Kaylee. They each ran and got as many eggs as they could find (which was PLENTY)
A lot of the eggs were empty, the kids would then go inside and tell them how many empty eggs they had and they would get to get that many chocolate treats. In years past, the chocolate had melted outside. So they decided to do it this way this time. If the kids got a golden egg they got to choose a big prize.

Kaylee got to choose a prize!
It was fun to see my co-workers and their kids. It worked out perfect too, because both kids napped on the way to Idaho.

5K RUN

Beej & Chris

Since my last miscarriage I needed something else to focus on, and since my knees have been doing soo good lately, I decided to test them out and do a 5K run. I made BJ train and run with me (he was so supportive). My goal was to run the 5k without stopping which I did! I ran it in 37.43 min. I want to run another one and try to run it under 35 minutes if I can.
My aunt Amy, Cousin Jodee, and Aunt Trina all ran the 5 K too (they were the ones who told me about it).

Kaylee and Connor waiting patiently for mom to take them home. They were soo good in the stroller during the race (well- I had my ear plugs in and BJ was pushing them...but it seemed like they were pretty good anyway ;D).

I feel so lucky to have such a great and supportive family. Sure do love these guys

Preschool Easter Party

Beej & Chris

Kaylee's preschool has these short programs throughout the year for each holiday. The kids each sing a few songs and then as a family we go around and participate in the activities the teacher has layed out for the kids to play.

Connor comes along and joins in on the fun. Here is the egg match game

They then made 'Easter' Twinkie treats
Matching M&M's with the colors and numbers on the page

13th Ward YM/YW fundraiser night

Beej & Chris

The YM/YW hold an annual fundraiser night to help them raise money for camp. This year, they provided free horse rides!
Kaylee loved riding the horse. She actually went on both horses that were available to ride- and would have rode more if we would have let her.

Connor of course had no fear, and he hoped right on too.

I let him go by himself, but when the guy who was guiding the horse started texting on his phone and Connor started to slide off- I was definitely second guessing that decision. Thankfully Connor can hold his own and he pulled himself right back up on the seat while mom about had a heart attack.

The youth provided dinner and auctioned off some desserts. They ended up making a lot of money that will help them out a lot throughout the year. It was a fun night.

Kaylee Dance Picture

Beej & Chris

After getting Kaylee all dressed and ready for her dance pictures, we decided to snap a few of our own (since they charge soo much to print you a picture)

Kaylee comes up with her own poses. After a few pictures, she wasn't done. She wanted more and more pictures taken.

Seriously, how cute is this girl!

These are a few pictures I took of her getting her pictures done. They would go to pose her and she would just pop her foot out and put her hands on her hip. ha ha This girl knows how to have her picture taken.
