Yay for the once a year trip to Lagoon. Don't get me wrong, lagoon can be fun. Our kids seem to really enjoy riding roller coasters. But it sure is exhausting. It is a lot of walking and poorly shaded in many areas so it is HOT hot HOT. So....once a year seems to be perfect for our family.
Since Ashlynn was only 5 months old, the kids would either ride the little kid rides together or take turns going with either mom or dad. I always love when they grab each others hands. It makes me so happy that they love each other so much.
It was perfect this year. Kaylee was tall enough to ride a lot of the big rides with her dad, but still small enough to ride the little kid rides with Connor. Connor was also really brave and rode all the rides he was tall enough to ride....but of course that is the problem with being short for your age, you don't get to ride a lot of "big kid" rides ;) But he was okay since he had his big sister to have fun with.

It was so fun watching these kids ride the bumper cars. They would just laugh and laugh. The line wasn't long, so they would finish riding and then run back in line again. But every time Kaylee would run over and help Connor get his seat belt off. I was SO proud of her. We give them a hard time sometimes, but they truly are great kids.
We had to take advantage of Lagoon-A-Beach for at least a little bit before lunch. The water was cold as usual, but it felt soo good on such a hot hot day.
My amazing brother, sister in law and their kids have season passes- so they joined us for lunch and afterwards.
We had a great time and can't wait till next year.
