Sledding/Christmas Eve 2015

Beej & Chris

Christmas is getting pretty close and we're all super excited.  We had to find some fun things to do to keep the kids from asking if it was Christmas yet so we decided to build some huge lego towers.  The kids each wanted to do their own,.

Ashlynn hopped in the laundry basket and Kaylee helped move her around the house.

And she jumped in a few times as well :D

Ashlynn wanted to play nurse since she sees her big sister do it all the time.

We decided one night that we would head out and see different houses with cool lighting displays.  We got a little bit of a late start and only got to see a few houses, but the kids loved this one that looked like it was singing to us.

The snow hung around for a long time and while the kids loved sledding out front, they also wanted to go sledding at the park.  We got up early (okay, that's a normal time at our house, but you get the idea,) and went sledding when no one else was there.  Ashlynn loves the sled, but hates her bulky snow suit

Some places were pretty icy, so you didn't need a sled for that part.

Of course, why not play at the park for a little bit too!

On Christmas Eve, we let the kids each open a gift.  You'll never guess what they got...

Pajamas!

We're all ready for Christmas to be here!

Jazz Game/ Utah Vs BYU Game

Beej & Chris

Christie's parents had some lower bowl tickets to the Jazz game and asked us if we would like to come with them.  We decided to take all of the kids!

This is some random picture of the kids having a blast on the slide.

Kaylee was pretty excited to see Santa at the game...

though she wasn't quite sure what to do when she got near him since he wasn't sitting and asking what she wanted.

Here are a couple of my cute girls showing off their big smiles and saying "Go Jazz!"

Sitting with Grandma and Grandpa in the lower bowl while Dad is in the upper bowl.

Ashlynn is just like me and loves looking through the game guide :)

Connor got to say hi to Santa as well.

We had a family party with Chrisite's Mom's family.  Chrisite, Tara, Amy and Becky all worked on planning it and had things to get ready.  Tara came over and made a bunch of treats with Christie and the kids.

Here we are at the family party

I think they got plenty of presents and treats!

When we heard about the Utah vs. BYU bowl game, we were pretty excited and invited everyone over for a friendly party.  We even let BYU fans in the door (though they wanted to leave in the first 10 minutes of the game starting!)

Amy's family is a little confused, but Sam and his dad (Joeh - who had to work) are pretty smart guys.

Homemade BYU pride.

I clearly got the smartest one!

Ashlynn still loves Grandma, even if she wears the wrong colors.

The kids had fun because they got to eat lots of snacks and treats

Hanna and her then boyfriend Ian came and hung out for a bit.

The BYU fans were checked out after the first couple of turnovers.

Here's Ashlynn loving the bath and splashing and playing.
