Our amazing neighbors the McGavins have a cute little boy just under Connor's age named Austen. Kaylee and Connor both love to play with Austen, and mom likes to talk to Austen's mom Ashley. It is a win win  :)

Austen invited us to join in on his birthday party. They had planned the party to be just outside a firehouse at a park. Shortly before the party I was checking facebook and saw that Ashely had messaged me asking for help. She had locked her keys and cell phone in the car and wasn't sure what to do. Luckily BJ was working from home and went over with me to go and try to help her get her keys out of her locked car. 45 minutes later we finally got them! We then all rushed to the park where everyone was awaiting the birthday boy.

After having some yummy pizza, opening presents, and having some cookies....we got to have a mini tour of the fire station. The kids all thought it was pretty cool to see inside the truck. All the fire fighters were so kind.
