BJ's new calling in our ward is the Cub Master. Shortly after he got called he was in charge of doing the Pinewood derby. He organized it all and came up with some great ideas. He even designed the decorative signs himself. I was pretty impressed.

Papa Bruce was amazing as always and came to help with the timing of the car races.

We were able to borrow the race track from our old neighbors the Adamsons

BJ took Drew's suggestion and had the racers sit on the opposite side of the track. The cub scouts felt pretty good in their soft special seats I think.

BJ also asked the leaders to all bring a treat that could go in with the car theme. The leaders did not disappoint. The treats were amazing!!

These were the prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

All of the scouts got a medal for participating

Connor and Evi hopped on stage to "help" BJ as he conducted and gave out instructions to everyone. I love that I got a picture when Evi had grabbed Connor's hand.
