Thanksgiving

Beej & Chris

Thanksgiving this year was spent at Papa Bruce and Grandma Sherrie's
It was so warm outside the kids got to play in the backyard without jackets on even!
We got spoiled and had traditional turkey as well as deep fried turkey. They were both soo good!
Kaylee sure had fun helping Papa cook. She sure loves her Papa and follows him around wherever he goes whenever we are at his house.
When you are waiting to eat what do you do? Entertain yourself with olives on your fingers of course
.
BJ got the job of carving the turkey. He did a great job.

Say CHEESE ;)

After a great Thanksgiving day we headed up and put the kids to bed and I went out black Friday shopping while BJ headed to bed. BJ then went shopping in the morning while the kids and I got ready to go to Idaho to visit great grandma and grandpa Scott.
I LOVE my grandparents and love visiting them. I wish they didn't live so far away. The kids had fun. I didn't get too many pictures but we stayed till later that night visiting and playing games with my grandma. I didn't get very many pictures so these are from that evening when everyone had already left. Kaylee and Connor were tired and that is why Connor keeps hiding ha ha
At the end of the night we let Kaylee watch a show and play on the Ipad for a little while before we headed home
My cute grandparents!

Chillin' in my grandma's chair. It was heated and would massage your back- no wonder she loves this chair! :)
Sure do love Thanksgiving. BJ and I feel overwhelmed with the many blessing we have I wouldn't even know where to begin to say what I am grateful for- because I am grateful for so much. But to name a few (our kids, warm house, two amazing jobs, great friends, amazing family, a working car, the gospel of Jesus Christ and the gift of the Holy Ghost that we can feel whenever we are in need of comfort).

Disney on Ice

Beej & Chris

Okay so I had never been to Disney on Ice and never really though about going. But I heard on the radio that they were giving away free tickets so I called BJ and asked him if he wanted to go check it out. He spun the wheel and didn't win the 4 free tickets but they gave him 2 free tickets for coming down. And since the only day available for the free tickets was in the late afternoon while BJ was at work. We took Connor to his friend Takota's house while Kaylee and I went to the show.
Getting all ready to go. Kaylee didn't have any dress ups to wear so we just got in our prettiest dress and sparkly shoes.
Kaylee was sooo excited. She kept asking all day "We go to Disney on Ice yet?"
We got all dressed up, make up and all (or as Kaylee calls chapstick "lips"...I want some "lips" mom) and we were ready to go.
Right after we parked- SOO excited!
Kaylee was pulling my arm so we could get there fast. She then started to skip down the sidewalk smiling ear to ear.
We walked in and Kaylee said, "MOM its so pretty. Look its blue!" (talking about the ice rink)

                                                            Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy

Finding Nemo
Beauty and the Beast

All the princesses
Belle, Snow White, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Jasmine, Mulan.
Toy Story
It's a Small World like at Disney Land

Yummy slushy in a cup that lights up (Since we got the tickets for free I figured we would splurge and get one thing)
Yummy....until she dropped the whole thing on the floor and tried to use her spoon to eat it anyway. lol

                                                                              Pinocchio
Mulan

                                                                               Incredibles
Lion King
Everyone...

We LOVED it! Definitely better than the circus and I love the circus. ha ha. Since the show was 2 hours long I knew Connor wouldn't make it (especially since it landed during his naptime) even though during the first half of the show I was wishing he was there seeing it...we left him to go play with Takota and Miranda Nelson- Next year for sure buddy!
