November random happenings

Beej & Chris

Ha Ha Ha, we always laugh when we see this picture of Connor sound asleep holding onto his legs. He is such a sweetheart. On a side note, when I was going through the pictures for November I found some video's of Connor reading to his daddy. He has really started to read well. He surprises us all the time with his Knowledge. He actually started reading the books that Kaylee was sent home from her kindergarten teacher. Slowly Kaylee has progressed into chaper books, but even if Connor can't get the big words- he can read Most if not all of the books Kaylee comes home. It is so fun to watch him learn and grow.

For my sister's birthday I offered to take her to dinner. My parents had the same idea, so we all went together. I love spending time with my sister. We laugh a lot. She stays really busy with her four kids, working full time, and helping everyone she sees in need so we don't get to hang out very much. So I really cherish these times.
Connor lately has had an obsession of eggs and omelets. Can't blame him ;)
How cute is he riding his tricycle to his friend Evi's house. He can ride his 2 wheeled bike, but he still loves his tricycle. The poor tires are totally coming apart, but it doesn't seem to bother Connor at all.

In our new ward we had an adult game night.
This game was really fun to watch. Though if I am honest, I had no desire to do it myself :D

This is our neighbors Phil and Paige. You put a bowl on your head and had to use a plastic spoon to pick up cotton balls and put it in the bowl on your head while blindfolded. It was really funny to watch, because the cotton balls are so light you have no idea if you have any on your spoon or not. Phil Bangeter was also really funny to watch because he was so proper with his feet together and how he held his spoon. ha ha It had us all laughing.
BJ was pretty busy with work and all my "honey do lists" so he wasn't to excited to put up the Christmas lights. Sooooo I put them up myself. I was pretty proud ha ha.
A few pictures from the eyes of Kaylee and Connor

WEEDS! STICKERS! Gah! It has been driving my bonkers. So each day while Ashlynn takes her nap I am outside raking and shoveling these weeds one shovel at a time. It is a slow process but I am determined to get cleared before the snow comes so we can play in the snow without the worry of all the stickers.

As I was driving Connor to preschool I passed this huge pile of leaves at a church in West Bountiful. Sooo....After I picked up the kids from school and dropped off Charlie and McKay I surprised the kids and went and raked up and jumped in the leaves. It was so spontaneous and a lot of fun.

Ha ha my Kaylee putting her own makeup on

Since Kaylee has allergies and we were under the impression Ashlynn might as well after Halloween, we took her into see the allergist. They tested her for all the allergies Kaylee has as well as a few popular allergies. It all came back negative! No nut allergies for this little pumpkin!!

She was so easy going and just sat on my lap while they ran the test. I was so proud of her!

Mike and Jamie Scott

Beej & Chris

Mike and Jamie Scott were in our old Woods Cross ward. We hung out with them here and there, but it wasn't until we were both selling our houses and starting the building process that we really started to become pretty good friends. They have two kids (Emmie and Will) who are just younger than Connor and just older than Kaylee. They just finished building a beautiful home in Kaysville just after we finished building our house.

They are both so much fun to hang out with and throw the best parties. Mike threw this party for Jamie for her birthday. They rented out a small theater room and provided snacks, treats, and drinks following the movie. We didn't make it to the movie because we had sick kids, but we snuck out of the house after getting the kids to bed to join the after party while Grandma Scott stayed with the sleeping kids.
The party was a 007 themed party, so everyone was dressed up all fancy.
Carmen and Ross Jorgensen (from our old ward- Carmen used to be my visiting teacher)

Tish Adamson (My VT as well, I also was her boys cub scout leader and BJ was their Scout Master)

We had a great night! Maybe next time we will make the movie ;)

Thankful

Beej & Chris

I am so Thankful for this cute boy who has the cutest cheeks and the softest and kindest heart. He loves to cuddle and gives the BEST hugs.
I am Thankful for a fireplace. It is just as amazing as I imagined it would be.

I am thankful that my kids LOVE school and that they have such great teachers

I am thankful for cousins and the amazing influence they have on my kids

I am thankful that my kids LOVE each other and enjoy playing with one another

I am so thankful for my Kaylee bean. She is such a great helper and has the most sensitive heart.

I am thankful for the temple and how close it is. I'm thankful for the amazing blessing of peace I feel every time I go inside.

I am thankful we have two great cars that keep us safe and get us to where we need and want to be. I am also thankful for the portable battery charger that helped get us through a few months before we finally ended up having to buy a new battery for our Pilot.

I am so thankful for this baby girl. Ashlynn is the sweetest and happiest baby. She sleeps good. Eats good. Plays with her siblings good, and gives the best cuddles. Ashlynn is so much fun. We are loving seeing her personality coming out.

I am thankful that these kids love to draw. Their pictures and notes are the cutest ever!

I am thankful for my education as a nurse and the usefulness it is when my kids are sick. I am also very thankful for their daddy (my amazing husband BJ) who takes care of the kids when they are sick. Without fail, they almost always get sick on the 1 day a week that I work. BJ of course always does an amazing job at taking care of the kids. They LOVE him so much.

Happy Thanksgiving from Our Family to Yours!
