Uncle Nate's return

BJ

The day I have been waiting for finally arrived! My brother is coming home from his mission from Rochester, NY!!!! I had always wanted to decorate the overpass with cups to surprise him. BJ went to play basketball so I didn't think I would be able to get it done. I teasingly told him he could go after basketball and put it up himself ha ha
Well- GUESS WHO SURPRISED ME!!! He not only stopped at the store to buy cups, but then had to go back and get a different size that would fit. He did all of this at 11pm ish by himself! I was blown away. Totally shocked. YES, I have the best husband ever.

All the kids waiting for their UNCLE NATE at the airport
We love our Uncle Nate

Airport hugs! THE BEST EVER! After waiting for what seemed like forever with Nate's flight delays he finally got home. We went back to Mom and Dad's house for some homemade sub sandwiches and then met with the Stake President where Nathan was released as a missionary.

A few days later Nate came over to see our new house along with Mom and Dad & Johnathon and Kierston.

The boys attempting to climb up the slide. It was a lot harder than they anticipated ha ha

30 years old

BJ

I was so worried about turning 30! I wanted to stay in my 20's forever. So my amazing husband made sure to make my birthday extra special. We started out the day with breakfast in bed from my sweet kiddo's
I got to chose my gift which was a Norwex mop! Yay!

My amazing neighbor/Friend Paige took me to Waffle Love for some brunch
BJ took the day off and helped plan this whole party! He made the invitations and with the help of my amazing friend Jamie Scott even decorated the house in prep for my BUNCO party.

Amy, Becky, Jodee and Angela
Brittney and Nicole playing in the slide ha ha

BJ even had the party catered with my favorite Cafe Zuppas!! He did an amazing job at making my birthday the most special day ever. It was so much fun and by far my favorite birthday party. Thanks BJ! Love you!

CraftyWife

BJ

Christie loves to do crafts (she just doesn't have a ton of time to do it.)

She made this awesome wreath to go on the front door.  (She wrapped a lot of yarn!)

She's also made about 16 pillow covers, so she's pretty much a pro now!

She also decided to make a cover for our window seat.  It was a lot of work and I helped her with a couple of the angles.  We also had a neighbor come down and help her cut a lot of the fabric and give her pointers.

My wife is awesome!

Kids

BJ

This is a lot of pictures of the kids that make me smile

The kids making a sign for the airport when Uncle Nate got home from his mission
Ashlynn loves getting rides from her big sister in the battery powered car
Kaylee's kindergarten homework

I love this picture! These kids love each other so much
They didn't even plan matching shirts, but they were pretty excited when it happened.

Practicing making a car from a potato for Cub Scouts
Connor and Kaylee sang a song for Up with Kids together for their talent on talent day. I was so proud of them. Connor was a little nervous at first, but they both did a great job. They sang "God is bigger than the boogey man"

Going as a family to Buffalo Wild Wings! Yum! We went there with another couple (Mike and Angela Roberts) and loved it, so we took the kids there the next weekend.
They gave the kids little game devices to play with while we waited for the food.
Ashlynn loves to tease her sister, and Kaylee loves to tease her right back.

Kaylee picking out her own outfits for school. Yes, she is wearing my pink running headband
All ready for school!
Ashlynn joining the kids in brushing her teeth. She even bangs the toothbrush at the sink just like Kaylee and Connor.
While we were at Smiths Kaylee found this jacket and hat and tried it on. She wasn't in need of either so we didn't buy it; but now looking back at this months later I wish I would have. She is so stinkin cute! I wish I had all the money in the world to just let her pick out her outfits. It would be fun to see her personality come out. And that pose....I freakin love this girl.

Sleeping babies are the best. Ashlynn has the cutest little cheeks.
