The last several years Papa Bruce has invited our family to come join him at his company party. The kids look forward to it! They provide dinner and a lot of free activities as well as face painting and balloon animals.

The people who do the face painting are amazing artists. The kids can show them a picture on my phone and they will re-create it.

As you can tell, the balloon artists are of the same quality. The make the most amazing balloon creations!

I had to call "Get Gephardt to help get some money returned to us. When they contacted us and asked if we would be willing to do a video interview- I gladly volunteered BJ! 😂😉

The reason we called Get Gephardt was we refinanced and the company we had paid our loan off to took out an additional mortgage payment after the pay off. They fully admit they were in the wrong and keep telling us they will pay us back, but we just can't get the money back. The last time I called they said it hasn't even been processed. So I told them I would be reporting them...and I did! Of course as soon as the news station reported them and contacted them, we got our check in the mail. 

BJ was such a good sport about doing this when it was not in his comfort zone. It was funny hearing him pretend to call the company while they filmed him. 

Taking the kids to the dentist with my scooter was fun ;) I was worried about chasing Ashlynn so I asked Nate if he could meet me there to help. He was so kind and came and helped.

Good thing too....cause she is a busy lady

Ashlynn did soo good at letting the dentist count her teeth. I was super impressed.

We only had one cavity and it was for Connor! First child to get a cavity and his first one. It wasn't too deep so it should be an easy fix. It was in between the teeth so we better get better at flossing! We had been really good for awhile in flossing the kids teeth every night, but lately with everything going on we let them brush on their own and sometimes forget to floss.

Summer time with a broken foot was really hard. It was hot and hard to get where I needed when I needed to with the kids, but we slowly figured it out. BJ had mostly been taking the kids to swim lessons, but this time I got to take them.

The kids have been loving taking lessons and are learning so much. We really like taking swim lessons from the Butter's. They only teach them for 2 weeks, but they learn soo much in that short time it's crazy.

Being out in the heat caused my foot to swell up pretty good. Ouch!

These kids can get pretty creative at times and I love it! They were trying on different dress ups and acting out their own play.

Dad joined in the fun. He is such a fun dad!
