Kaylee Upstart Graduation_ Ashlyn Roseola

Beej & Chris

Kaylee graduated from her online preschool Upstart. We had heard about this program from Kierston and JQ and are so glad we took time to look into it. Kaylee loved the program and learned a lot from it. They had an official graduation where they came and met us at the car and made Kaylee feel like a princess. They made it a HUGE deal that she graduated and even awarded her with some books and a graduation certificate. I would highly recommend UpStart to anyone with preschool age kids. We had Kaylee do Upstart along with her regular Preschool, but some people only do UpStart.
A few days later Ashlynn woke up with this horrible rash. It was after having a high fever a few days prior. After looking at the rash and talking to my aunt we diagnosed her with Roseola.

She looked like she should feel miserable, but she was still such a happy baby girl. n

House Fun and Slide Delivery

Beej & Chris

We set up a futon in the basement so we could eventually make it into a little play area for the kids

Can I just say how much I LOVE having double ovens. I didn't know how much I would use it, but I am quickly realizing how nice they are. We made cookies to take to neighbors as a thank you for all their help. With the use of two ovens, cooking those cookies went so quickly!

Good thing we have professional cookie tasters.

When we moved in the house the slide wasn't ready to be delivered yet. So we had to put a temporary wall over where the slide would be. You can imagine my excitement when the slide was finally delivered!!!!

 Look how big it is!

 Eeeek! So exciting!!!

We stored all the parts in the garage until the builders could make time to come and install it.

Childrens Parade

Beej & Chris

Kaylee holding some framed mirrors we bought to see if they looked good. We didn't end up keeping these ones ;)
Shortly after we started going to our new ward in our new house. The kids got to join in the kids parade in SLC. Since Ashlynn was still so little, she joined mom in watching the parade instead of walking in it.

Here is the group of kids from the ward that participated.

and their float

BJ brought the stroller, but the kids ended up walking most of it.

Ashlynn and mom waiting for the kids to come by.

Their they are!

After the parade we went to the park to play on all the free blow up toys

They also had a place where you could make a free birdhouse, car etc.. from Home Depot.

Mom helped the kids while Dad watched Ashlynn

They had a few other fun places where the kids could make things for free. It was a fun event
