Beej & Chris

Connor's Preschool Halloween Party

Aren't these little kids and their costumes so dang adorable
L-R (Nixon, Thatcher, Camden, Brody, Connor, Sophie, Paisley, Amy, Lily)
Boston is not pictured here, but he joined a little later on. He missed half of the year of preschool d/t cancer. :( But Connor was so glad when he was in remission and could come back to school.

Ahhh, I just want to squish his cheeks
My cute little Aladdin

With their teachers help, they made a "boiling" potion with candy worms and punch.

Connor playing his all time favorite sport- GOLF!
This was a favorite with both Kaylee and Connor in preschool. They got to use a hammer and put the golf tee's into the pumpkin.

He sure loves his preschool and is doing really well! He loves to sound out words, and can write his name really well. He has learned all the letters of the Alphabet and really starting to do well reading small three letter words.
This is a picture of my work (Pineview) the day before their Halloween trick or treating. We have never been because it isn't close and the kids love to go around our neighborhood. But they get quite the show of kids obviously you can tell by how much candy they have.
Kaylee performed in our school choir in her cute Jasmine Costume.

Carving Pumpkins as a Family.

The kids were super grossed out with cleaning out the pumpkins

They were pretty good sports

But Mom and Dad ended up finishing cleaning and helping them carve

Baby Shower for Ashley McGavin

Beej & Chris

One of my good friends Ashley Mcgavin from our old ward (13th ward) was having a girl after having her two boys. So I decided to throw her a shower, because there are too many fun things to buy for baby girls!

I started out wanting to use these covers for mason jars, because how cute are they? But they only fit on specific expensive mason jars. So, I ended up taking them back.
 We had chicken salad sandwhiches
 Chips and Mango Salsa
fruit

 and brownies
I borrowed some of the decor and platters from my good friend Jamie Scott

We had a good turn out

 Danielle &

 Julie Nelson and her girls
(her youngest went down the slide and hit her knee going down. ugh I felt horrible)
and I got to see some of my old ward friends

Cristy Kilkpack & Tish Adamson
Michelle Nielson
Michelle Jamison and her daughter Hailey
Heidi Walker

Ashley opened up the slide for everyone to see and try it out.

It was a big hit. Hailey especially loved it. Her mom texted me later and told me that she went home and told her parents she wanted a slide and cried and cried when they said they weren't sure they could put a slide in their house. Michelle then asked me how much we spent on our slide.....unfortunately that is top secret and not anything anyone will ever know wha-ha-ha-ha (But seriously...Top Secret)

I thought it was the coolest thing that Ashley's mom came and went down the slide. She went down a few times actually. How fun is she?!
