Great Grandma Scott's Birthday

Beej & Chris

We love going to visit great grandma and grandpa Scott in Idaho. They are so fun to be around and just amazing grandparents. I love that my kids have gotten to know their great grandparents. What a huge blessing.
You can't go to their house without Grandpa offering the kids treats.
My sweet Grandma Scott. I could talk to her about anything.

Love you Grandma. Happy birthday!!

Kaylee turns 6

BJ

Our sweet, smart, determined, and fun little Kaylee bean turned 6!!
We blew up balloons and laid them all over her bed and her bedroom. We then brought her breakfast in bed with a candle. She loved it!
For dinner we went with Grandma Tenney, and JC & Anya to Chuck A Rama. Kaylee was so cute and came up to me asking if they would be singing to her. She got embarrassed when I asked them to sing to her but secretly she loved it.

Since Kaylee is a huge fan of stuffed animals; we decided to take her to Build a Bear for her gift.

She also got her Doc McStuffins Mobile Car.

BJ and Grandma Sherry helped set up for Kaylee's birthday

Kaylee had a Frozen themed birthday. In her invitation she invited her friends to dress up in their favorite Frozen character. One of her good friends McKay (aka Goose) came dressed up as Olaf.

We then played a game where they had to try to open a present while wearing gloves. You could start opening the present if you got two of the same number on the dice. We only did one present and whoever ended up opening the present got the extra gift and then handed out pencils to everyone else.
Playing stick the nose on Olaf
Hitting the pinata in the basement. Only a few people got to hit the pinata before it fell down and broke.
The kids didn't seem to mind and ran for the candy!
Opening presents!

Happy Happy Birthday Kaylee! We can't imagine life without you!

Reading in a fort

Beej & Chris

The kids made themselves a little fort to play in. I then found them in the fort reading together.

I love when they play together nicely. I hope they stay good friends as they grow up.

Snow Fun

Beej & Chris

I'm not going to lie I was pretty excited for snow this year. What started out with a few weeds here and there, turned into a crazy sticker pile all around our house. I worked so hard to hand pick each weed before the snow came. Ha ha I thought in my head that I could pick them up all individually. Yes, it was A LOT of work and NO I did not finish. BUT I did give a good effort and I like to think it helped ;) Anyway, I was excited for snow to come and cover up all the stickers ha ha. Man, those stickers are annoying!

Ashlynn isn't a fan of stickers either ;)

This winter we got A LOT of snow. When we got a storm it just dumped. There were a few times that the snow was really heavy too. We definitely got our workout with snow removal.

Valentine's

BJ

Connor's preschool did a little valentines party

Daddy helped Kaylee make a Valentines box for Kindergarten (yes, it was mom's idea to do more than just a simple valentines box. But it was more simple than others that we found online ;D)
Daddy and Kaylee did a great job don't ya think!?
Valentines morning mom and dad set out treats and some valentines mail for their mailboxes. The kids had also found these cute stuffed animals at Joanns that I went back and bought to give them for Valentines. They were really excited. They love stuffed animals.

Uncle Nate's return

BJ

The day I have been waiting for finally arrived! My brother is coming home from his mission from Rochester, NY!!!! I had always wanted to decorate the overpass with cups to surprise him. BJ went to play basketball so I didn't think I would be able to get it done. I teasingly told him he could go after basketball and put it up himself ha ha
Well- GUESS WHO SURPRISED ME!!! He not only stopped at the store to buy cups, but then had to go back and get a different size that would fit. He did all of this at 11pm ish by himself! I was blown away. Totally shocked. YES, I have the best husband ever.

All the kids waiting for their UNCLE NATE at the airport
We love our Uncle Nate

Airport hugs! THE BEST EVER! After waiting for what seemed like forever with Nate's flight delays he finally got home. We went back to Mom and Dad's house for some homemade sub sandwiches and then met with the Stake President where Nathan was released as a missionary.

A few days later Nate came over to see our new house along with Mom and Dad & Johnathon and Kierston.
