We had a fun 4th of July this year. We went up to the Malad, Idaho parade and got enough candy to last us till Christmas. It was quite the adventure getting to the parade because we took our time in the morning and got out late (so after speeding really really fast) we barely made it right before the parade started. It was an adventure but I am glad we made it because the kids both loved the parade.
After the parade we headed over to the park for some entertainment and for the kids races.
This is how Connor "raced". Classic! BJ is eating Connor's bribe candy and Connor is picking at the grass while all the other kids are running to their parents.
Kaylee raced her little heart out and did a great job!
She has the cutest little casual run. She just swings her arms around and bounces- it is the funniest thing to watch.
I know the pictures are out of order, meh. Here is Nate and BJ competing for the leap frog race. A team they competed in last year "competed" this year but really just ran the whole time saying that was what "BJ and Nate" did last year and they won. ha ha they were a little bitter by losing last year I guess.
All in all it was a great day!
