Poor Kaylee's eczema has been acting up! She is such a good sport and lets us lather her up with lotion every day; because when we miss a day or two- it really affects her.
Well.....it's somewhat official. We put an offer on a lot in West Bountiful that they accepted. So we have been busy getting our house clean and ready to show. The morning that we were going to have our builders come over to take pictures, I went to get ready for the day and found a big mess of toys outside the hall that the kids had just made.
Kaylee could tell I was stressed though I didn't say anything to her. I finished getting ready and found these two standing there smiling. They had cleaned up EVERYTHING they got out! I was beyond impressed!! Both kids have been such great helpers. Kaylee has always been really good at keeping her room clean. In fact, from when she was just learning to walk she would always insist that her room was free of any toys before she could go to bed. Now, she will put our shoes away by the front door and say to me "Mom, that is not where your shoes are supposed to go".
It has been stressful to say the least with all the house stuff, a new baby coming soon, and all the Holidays. I am so grateful for great friends and family....and our amazing two cute little helpers. We couldn't do it without them.
After taking pictures, they put our sign up in our front yard. It isn't officially on the market yet....though it will be here in a few weeks. After they put the sign up, we realized that we had to finish with our home equity loan before it could officially be on the market. But once that finalizes than it will go on the MLS. I am actually really grateful it hasn't gone up yet, because I really really didn't want to move before Christmas.
Everyone keeps asking us what are plans are if our house sells before the new house is done being built...unfortunately we don't have an answer yet. We will probably end up finding an apartment. But we keep hoping it will all just work out ;)
Now for a few random pictures....
Pregnancy craving....Peanut Butter Bars. Yum!
Daddy being the amazing dad he is and reading to the kids and our sweet niece Desiree. Desiree stayed the night while aunt Angela celebrated her birthday. I have said this before, but I love how much our kids LOVE books. That was one thing BJ always wanted our kids to like and he has done a good job at encouraging it with all the books he reads to them each day.
Connor sleeping in a cute position
Kaylee watching her video from our last dance recital. She sure misses dance. I keep telling her that after we have the baby then we can talk about putting her back into dance. A lot of them are doing recitals right now, so we thought it was best to wait to the first of the year.
Our amazing babysitter Samantha Wright created this fort for the kids. This is exactly why we and the kids love her so much! She was sad to hear that we were moving, but I quickly told her that even though we are moving that we would still be calling her to babysit! We aren't moving THAT far away. :)
