Hannah Ainsworth gets married

Beej & Chris

Papa Bruce helped watch our kids while BJ and I went to Hannah's wedding and then to Maddox afterwards for lunch. We stopped at Walmart to get a gift. Since I was still not able to fully weight bare I rode in the cart at Walmart. I should enjoy riding in it, but I just get embarrassed. I don't love all the attention.

Enjoying a yummy lunch at Maddox!

We then went and picked the kids up and went back up to the reception in Logan

Hannah and Ian are such a cute couple. We are really excited for them and their new adventure as a married couple!

Foot surgery

Beej & Chris

I went and saw the specialist and surgeon and found out that I did in fact break my foot bad enough that I had to surgically fix it. The plan was to place a screw in to hold the bone in place so it could heal. This required me to stay off my foot for 4-6 weeks without any weight on it.
My amazing friend Challae watched the kids while I went into surgery for my foot. I can't imagine going through trials without her. She is always right there ready and willing to help with anything. I'm so glad we became friends in nursing school.

It's going to be quite the adjustment with these kiddos and not having my foot to walk on, but I am sure grateful for my amazing and supportive husband who is right there by my side helping through everything.

Kaylee loses her 1st tooth!

Beej & Chris

My baby girl lost her first tooth!! The new tooth was growing in behind it pushing it out. Kaylee was soo excited for the tooth fairy that she was begging everyone to pull her tooth out. Mom kept telling her no to pulling out in fear of it hurting her. Dad tried to pull it but Kaylee's teeth are super tiny it made it almost impossible. Mom finally tried a few times and pulled it out.
Kaylee was sooo excited for the tooth fairy to come.
Kaylee was so excited when she woke up to find a note from the tooth fairy that allowed her to keep her first tooth as well as a basket made out of a dollar bill, a dollar and some change that was left in the basket. I don't remember how early she woke up that morning, but it was pretty early ha ha.

Adventures with Family with a broken foot

Beej & Chris

Having a broken foot didn't stop me from getting downstairs. Heck, we have a slide! I just crossed my broken foot over my right foot so protect it and went down. Then when I got to the bottom of the slide I would just hop or crawl while I was downstairs with the kids.

The kids have been really enjoying playing cards lately. They are growing up so fast and able to understand phase 10 and skipbo (two of my favorite games) so it has been a lot of fun to play together.

Daddy being so fun throwing the ball around with the kids in the basement

Since I am non-weight bearing to my foot I get around on this knee scooter. We bought one and are borrowing one from Papa Bruce and Grandma Sherry. Ashlynn thinks it is hers. Anytime I get on the scooter she runs over and hops on as well.

These kids have been LIFE SAVERS! They help me with everything! Here is a picture of them vacuuming their bedroom floors. I wanted to use the shop vac to vacuum on the front porch so I hopped around trying to get it. Kaylee pushed her self so hard and lifted it herself to help me get it from the basement so I could vacuum. I then hopped around the front porch vacuuming the dust on the front porch. BJ would always tell me how crazy I was, and I never saw it. I just wanted to do something and figured out a way to do it anyway. But now looking back....I was a little crazy.
Many people would offer to help with things but I felt too guilty asking them to do something that I didn't HAVE to do... like vacuuming the front porch ;) But I didn't NOT want to get it done if that makes sense. Anyway THESE kids and their daddy were ROCKSTARS! I cant say enough how blessed I am to have them!!

Haircut and West Bountiful Elementary Field Day

Beej & Chris

Grandma Scott helped and took Kaylee to get her haircut for me. The people who did it didn't do a great job and didn't do what we wanted, so I ended up taking her back to get it done.
The kids had their school Field Day. My amazing neighbor Monique took some pictures and helped Kaylee get home afterwards.
