We had heard the Davis County Fair was in town, and being the spur of the moment person I am....I quickly packed up the kids and took them over before heading out to Bear Lake for the weekend. One of the biggest reasons why I only work once a week is because I hate missing things. I love seeing my kids experience different things. I love being there for every holiday. I am like a little kid who hates taking naps in fear of missing out on things, I don't want to miss a single thing ha ha. 

Luckily BJ is pretty good about it and lets me do spur of the moment things even on a crazy busy weekend. 

We got to the fair 30 minutes before it officially opened which I LOVED. It wasn't crazy hot and hardly anybody was there. The kids loved spending time "milking" the cows and playing with the water table and balls.

There was another family there early as well, they just flipped the switch for the ball shoot and our kids joined in on the fun. Ha ha we knew there was a chance we could get in trouble, but nobody ever came over.

Connor could have played over here the whole time, they had a blast.

We then met up with our friends Brinlee and Everette to go pet the animals. 

Kaylee and Connor had fun petting the animals, but it was on the whole other side of the park and I kept getting lost. It was hot and Connor was so tired of walking that I was wishing I just stayed where I was and waited for them to join us later on ha ha. But I knew Kaylee and Connor would love spending time with their good friends.

We were sad daddy couldn't make it, but the kids and I had a good time playing and seeing the animals. Gotta love the annual County Fair.

We don't own a chain saw, so while Christie was at her activity and between the scout service we had planned for the night, I headed out with the hacksaw for a man test.

We got the tree down and most everything off of the lawn about 10:15 that night.  It was a lot of work, but I was sure glad it hadn't hurt anyone or any of our property.  I've told Christie several times we're not having a Willow tree in our next house!

Daddy is going to have to write a post about his amazing experience while at Scout Camp. But while he was gone, we sure stayed busy. Grandma Sherry and Papa Bruce bought a swing and didn't end up using it, so they offered it to us. Kaylee and I took it upon ourselves to put the swing together while daddy was gone as a surprise.

It needed a little tightening from big strong daddy, but Kaylee, Connor, and I were pretty proud of our hard work putting it all together. The kids LOVE this swing and will go out back to swing in it several times a day. Thanks Papa Bruce and Grandma Sherry. We love it!

I took both kids to my doctors appointment. Everything looks good so far. I have started feeling the baby move here and there which is so fun. It is the weirdest thing. But even though I am in maternity clothes and I can feel movement inside my stomach.....I still don't "feel" pregnant. Going through a few years of infertility and two miscarriages really affected me. I have a lot of fear and am always worried something will happen, but I have been really trying to work through those fears. This pregnancy has gone in slow motion, in that I am soaking in every little movement and change. Just trying to enjoy it all. Pregnancy is such an amazing blessing that I am very very grateful to have experienced again.

The kids are sure excited to have a baby in the house. I keep telling Connor we will bring the baby home after Christmas is over. He keeps asking me the funniest question that I have yet to figure out what he means, he says "Mom, when ya getting the bag outta ya belly?" ha ha I keep telling him there is no BAG, but he has asked me several times and it makes me laugh every time.

Kaylee has been trying on and off to rider her bike without training wheels ever since one of them came off while she was riding her bike ha ha

We finally decided to make an extra effort and really practice for a few days in a row. It takes a lot of patience to teach a toddler how to ride a bike ha ha, but we made it through. I kept telling Kaylee I was going to let go of her but made sure she knew how to stop if she needed to. She hated the fact that I admitted I was going to let go. But ever since Kaylee was little, she has ALWAYS done better if I tell her exactly what is happening (including when she is going to get a shot at the doctors office). I explained to her that if I never let go then she would never learn to ride by herself. Kaylee being the brave girl she is took off and let me let her go. 

She had started riding a few times but whenever I let go she would immediately stop. I told her "Just keep going", so this last time when I let go I said "Kaylee, just keep going!! You can do it" and next thing I hear as Kaylee is riding her bike, she is saying to herself "Just keep going, just keep going, just keep going" until she got to the end of the sidewalk. I almost cried I was SO PROUD of my sweet girl. I loved how she motivated herself with words that I had taught her.

She still struggles with starting on her own, but we will get that soon enough. For now, if she is started she will ride and ride her little heart out. Can't believe how grown up she has become :(

My amazing friend/neighbor Ashley came and helped me make the decorations. It was a crazy/busy/emotional week while BJ was gone....and Ashley was there helping me throughout the whole thing. Her husband even came and edged our lawn in preparation for the baby shower. 

While daddy was gone, we went and picked out new backpacks in preparation for the kids to start Preschool.

I love these tender moments when they show how much they truly do love each other.

Cousin Natalie Buys came to visit from California. Since Papa Bruce and Grandma Sherry both work, she came over for a few days to stay the night with us and then headed over to Aunt JQ's house. 

While she was there Jamba Juice was giving away free veggie/fruit drinks. We waited in the store for awhile for our "yummy" drinks.

Mine on the other hand was.....NASTY. lol It tasted like GRASS ha ha. I chose the one that was high in iron because I am low in iron, but it was not the best because I could barely drink even a few sips before I threw it away.

We then took Natalie to look for some clothes for school. We shopped and shopped and shopped.....and she bought.....a cup. Lol, instead of letting me buy her some really cute capris (which she did not like apparently) she used her own money to buy a bedazzled cup. Silly girl

We went out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory before the show.  I'd never been there, so that was kind of fun.  We almost were late for the show, but between my crazy driving and dropping Christie off, we made it with time to spare.

Our seats were way up in Capitol Theatre, but it was totally fine.  We enjoyed the show and had a great date night.
