Baby Shower/Kids get ready for school

While BJ was gone on his week long camp-out for Scouts, I hosted a baby shower for our neighbors who were hoping to adopt a baby (they left to go get the baby and came home empty handed :( But we are all praying they get the opportunity to be parents soon! They will make great parents).
My amazing friend/neighbor Ashley came and helped me make the decorations. It was a crazy/busy/emotional week while BJ was gone....and Ashley was there helping me throughout the whole thing. Her husband even came and edged our lawn in preparation for the baby shower. 


While daddy was gone, we went and picked out new backpacks in preparation for the kids to start Preschool.
I love these tender moments when they show how much they truly do love each other.
