The kids (and mom) always look forward to Dad's work party at Boondocks. We all get a handful of tokens to go and play games. Connor was loving all the tickets he would earn.

We checked the race car height line and saw that Connor was just under the line. After seeing them let a lot of kids shorter than Connor go- we decided to wait in the 45 min line. Well....right before we got to the front of the line, they changed who was in charge. Connor was SO excited and ran to his car. The guy in charge made Connor come back and measured him and told him he couldn't ride. :( :( :( He was SO SO Sad. I felt horrible that I put him in that situation. I got upset mostly because of the inconsistency of the people in charge. We explained that to the manager who apologized and was very kind about it. But it still put a huge damper on the night.

We then got some cheap dinky toys with our tickets. We actually had two different teenagers give us their extra tickets which was super nice; and even with that the kids were barely able to each get two small toys. But we all had a great time together. BJ doesn't love this activity, but the kids and I can't wait till next year ;)
