CONNOR TURNS 4!
We started out his birthday with decorating his bunk bed and the apartment.
He woke up to balloons on his bed
We then let him open his presents from Grandma, Aunt JQ and Papa Bruce.
Then Connor and mom went shopping for his birthday cake as well as a doughnut for breakfast :)
He got to pick out all the doughnuts for everyone in the family and he loved the attention he got when we told them it was his birthday.
Dicks added these cute lego candies and made Connor an "Everything is Awesome" birthday cake for he LEGO Themed birthday.
After we got the cupcakes decorated with the candy legos we had ordered online, mom took Kaylee and Connor to swim lessons while Daddy watched Ashlynn and worked a little longer from home.
We then headed over to Connor's birthday party celebration at North Salt Lake Splash Pad.
Since it was going to be at a public place with a lot of room we let Connor invite a few friends. He invited friends from school (Sophie, Brody, Zane, and Thatcher), he invited some friends (Evi, Austen, Takota, Everette) and he invited a few cousins (Light, Camden, Desiree, Carson, Logan, Brooklynn, Alexa, and Syndey). He wanted to invite even more cousins and friends but I already knew this many people would be a little overwhelming so we had to stop there.
The kids started out playing LEGO B.I.N.G.O while all the kids came
They each got to pick out a prize when they got a BINGO
We then played 'Pin the Head on the LEGO man.'
We then took a break and let the kids go run around and play in the water while we got out the pizza, drinks, and grapes
Those that wanted to stay and play BINGO to get more prizes could, and those that wanted to go play in the water or playground went and did that.
Afterwards we ate pizza and cake
We attempted to light the candles on the cake, but it was a little too windy :( So we had to just pretend.
Grandma and Grandpa Scott came and helped a lot with Ashlynn which we were so grateful for. It ended up being a lot harder doing the party than I realized with Ashlynn, but so many parents helped. We definitely couldn't have done it without them! We also had help from Anya who took most of these pictures!
Connor then started to open up his presents
I love seeing the kids facial expressions with each present. It was really cute. Connor got a lot of Lego's which was exactly what he wanted! He also got some other fun toys from his friends.
Each of the kids went home with a Lego crayon, a mini lego man they could put together, some fruit snacks, and a few Lego brick treats that they could build with as well as eat.
Thanks to everyone that came! Connor is definitely so blessed to have so many family and friends who love him.
