For the 4th of July we drove up to Malad to join in on their festivities

Connor didn't love all the loud sirens

The morning before we headed to Idaho I went running. I was training for the half marathon and had to continue my training to get ready for the race. Which is also why we didn't end up going to fireworks in West Bountiful the night before.

After the parade we headed over to the park.

The kids each ran a race in their age divisions

Kaylee really wanted to win, but was excited for the Popsicle at the end.

After the races we went to visit with Great grandma and grandpa Scott.

We then took the kids over to look at some mirrors for the house and then headed home. The kids weren't tired at all. ;-)

Since we were still going strong and the kids got a nap- we headed over to Layton to watch the fireworks there. We had packed sandwiches and grapes and just enjoyed playing at the park while we waited for the fireworks.

The kids found some friends and played Frisbee with them. One of their dads kept throwing the Frisbee to Kaylee and was teaching her the basics. It was cute to see her increase that skill.
