We had to be out of the apartment so we pushed the builders to be out of the house in time for us to move in. They had literally just finished mopping the floor as we showed up with all of our stuff to move in. There were still a few leftover things to do but not crucial before moving in. I went over that morning and got the official "Letter of occupancy" which was pretty exciting!
The first time they came for inspection they didn't pass because they had to add more railing in the front porch. Luckily the guy was able to come and do it that day so they could come back and inspect. phew
Grandma Scott (my mom) was so amazing and watched sweet Ashlynn while we moved. It was soo helpful!
The kids came and helped unpack. Connor was pretty tired and had a little meltdown during the move. Our new neighbors Angela Roberts had the kids over to play while we did a lot of the unloading. We had such great support with family, friends, and new neighbors that it went so quickly.
I stood by the storage containers and told people where to put everything. I felt guilty not carrying things, but they kept telling me how it was nice to know where to put things.
JQ and Papa Bruce went over to the apartment and got all of the rest of the leftover things and cleaned the apartment for us!!!!! It was beyond our expectations and helped us sooooo much.
My mom and dad bought pizza for everyone but most people snuck out before grabbing it. But it was so nice to have leftovers for the next few days as we unpacked. Plus, it was Zapponie's pizza and super yummy!
All the amazing helpers! We felt so blessed!
Daddy was exhausted and just needed some baby cuddles
We were all super exhausted that night, but we made it into OUR NEW HOUSE!!!!!!!
