A few more pictures of the kids and BJ working on getting the yard ready for sprinklers. BJ had to spend a lot of time getting the yard leveled and ready for sod to be placed. The kids loved helping any chance they could.

Before we put the sod in, we paid to have curbing put in.

It was hard deciding on where everything was going to go. The plan for this area is for two peach trees. We put edging here and didn't plan on putting grass in there because at our last house it was always a pain cleaning up the peaches before we mowed, or trying to mow underneath the trees.

Uncle Nate and Pumpkin came and helped one day with finishing up with the sprinklers.

Once the grass was put in, I started working on planting flowers :D

We still have a lot of plans on what we want to do in the backyard. But for now, I put some black weed protector covering underneath the porch and filled up a cheap swimming pool with sand so the kids could have a place to play.

Here are all the flowers planted. I asked a lot of questions to neighbors and at the local nursery on what flowers would be good. We will see which ones we want to keep for next year. We only did a few perennials and mostly did annuals for now, until we figure out what we want.
